Dr. Mi-Hyeon Jang has had a longstanding interest in the field of regenerative medicine. The focus of research in Jang laboratory is to understand the underlying neurobiological mechanisms that promote regenerative processes of adult neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis and myelination. We aim to discover novel regenerative strategies for improving learning and memory function in brain aging, Alzheimer’s disease as well as other neurodegenerative disorders.
