The Krieger Klein Alzheimer’s Research Center Internship Program (KKIP) is a one-year internship opportunity for qualified individuals who would like to gain hands-on, guided and practical experience in Alzheimer’s disease research.

The Krieger Klein Alzheimer’s Research Center Internship Program (KKIP) is designed for individuals interested in public health, biomedical, or social science research in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Participation in this internship will begin the week of June 1st 2026. The expected time commitment is a minimum of 20 hours per week during the summer, and 5 hours per week during the rest of the school year.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the KKIP program a student must be:
- An undergraduate or graduate student attending school or university, or an individual who has recently completed a BA or BS
- A citizen or permanent resident (green-card holder) of the United States
- Willing to commit to one full year of participation in the program
- Highly motivated to pursue a career in science
- Age 18 and up
- Ability to commit to 20+ hours per week from June 1-August 15, and 5 hours per week during the remainder of the year (August 15-May 31st 2027).
