Dr. Sanz Simon’s research is focused on sociocultural determinants and individual characteristics that influence risk and resilience to cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) in diverse populations. She also investigates the effects and mechanisms of non-pharmacological lifestyle interventions in aging. She has a particular interest in integrating neuroimaging, technology, and digital biomarkers into cognitive intervention and physical exercise programs.
